Eclipsa Audio FAQ
IAMF (Immersive Audio Model Format) is a cutting-edge audio container format designed to deliver immersive and adaptive audio experiences across various devices and platforms. The IAMF specification is developed and published by Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia) and is available under a royalty free license from AOMedia.

The duration varies depending on the device complexity and readiness for testing. Typically, the process takes less than two weeks.
For Decoding Device (e.g. TV and soundbar) and Capture Device (e.g. microphone), there is a $10,000 annual admin fee to become an adopter and obtain license to the test specifications. In addition, compliance tests performed by ATC for Decoding Device will have a charge to the adopter, set by each ATC.
Our Authorized Test Centers (ATC) are located in Korea (TTA) and in Shenzhen (THX). We are looking to expand the network of approved third-party labs globally.
